SIZE: Mini
This is a mini flower2 punch by The Punch Bunch and is a regular plunger style punch that is open on the underside so you can see where you are punching.
The punched out shape is 5/16 inch across. I have eagerly awaited getting this punch in as it is one of my personal favorites. The deep indentations between the petals of this shape allow it to be molded a bit more than many of the other punches. The size is what I like the most about it. It is small enough to use as accent flowers in the quilled watches and it makes perfectly wonderful filler flowers for just about any flower arrangement. Mold it, layer it, put tiny pearls in the center or use colored gel pens to create marvelous little accents. I am showing it here along side the mini Asterisk punch for comparison. The flower 2 is slightly larger.
If you do scrapbooking, stamping, quilling, punchart, or card crafting, this punch will add a lot to your art projects. The mini punches are most versatile as they can be used on their own to create flowers or designs or can be used in conjunction with other shapes or just as flower centers.
The punched shapes can be used flat to create flowers for scrapbooking or can be molded slightly with a stylus to create realistic looking flowers for cards or to add as filler flowers to quilling. When molding the mini shapes it is best to use the very finest point stylus, such as the one I sell in my store, as the ends are small enough to fit in the centers. The mini punches can also be used to create interesting borders when punched along the edges of cards. They are also often used as a base shape to create your sculpted flowers on, making the flowers easier to handle and add to an arrangement.

You will find these sheets listed under quilling paper sheets. I have sheets in jeweltones, glistening, pearlized, parchment, and regular colors and reasonably priced in assortment packs. The wider paper quilling strips, such as ¼ , 3/8, and 5/8 widths, are also ideal for use with the mini, small and sometimes medium size punches.
