    Beautiful solid brass Winged Griffin” bookends, with pieced-back design. Nice estate sale find in the Atlanta region.
    Note: The few of these I have seen online were incorrectly marked antique or French. Another listing called them copper. These are vintage perhaps but certainly not antique. This set has an original label, “Made in India.” They are however quite striking.
    A recent auction in the EU sold this set for 155 euros (4).
