Vintage MCM Hand Carved Wooden Art Sculptured Bookends Two Reading Men

Description

These beautifully hand carved wooden bookends feature sculptures of two men standing and reading books.  Slightly toned in green, brown, and red colors.  Measures:  Standing man - 6" x 3" x 5 1/2"; leaning over 5 1/4" x 3" x 5 1/2".  Total weight 1lb. 5 oz.  Condition is very good although the leaning over guy looks to have had his head broken off at some time and was glued back on.  Not really that noticeable from a distance (see photo).  There a few dings in the wood blocks and 2 felt green pads on bottom.  One has corner of paper covering on bottom folded on one corner.  These adorable bookends will still make a wonderful accent on a bookshelf, mantel, or console table.
