RC SCALE:
Actual Bell UH1 Huey has a rotor span of 48ft.
To insure proper fit, measure the instrument panel space width of your aircraft. The fuselage of most RC helicopters seem to be a little fat, adjust cockpit panels to fit.
FINE SCALE:
Print LIFE SIZE PNG file onto 35mm (24x36mm, about 1½ inches wide) slide film.
A 35 inch wide panel printed full frame = about 1/24 scale, 2/3 frame = about 1/32 scale, and ½ frame = about 1/48 scale. Hi-white the back and install. The detail is there, but you’ll need a magnifier to see it.
Use this ratio to tailor panel to fit:
Revell UH1D Huey is in 1/48 scale.
Revell UH1D Huey also comes in 1/32 scale.
Fine scale models tend to have thicker scale skin. Adjust accordingly.

Huey
is the world's most recognized helicopter -  the symbol of The Air Cav tour in South East Asia - Vietnam. Huey A and B arrived in Vietnam by 1962. UH1A/B Slicks ferried troops and had door gunners with an M60 7.62mm. 2000 UH1Ds were in Vietnam with Air Cav Blue - rifle troops, and Red - ground attack ‘Frogs. UH1C White – Recon.
UH1D Frogs got M24 20mm cannon, AS10 and SS11 missiles in 24 tube XM-3 launchers. The later Hunter Killers - Hawks Claw - had XM26 TOW missiles. Mixes were called Purple or Pink.
UH1H Hotels were created by upgrading Deltas; UH1E Echo was similar to UH1D but added special Marine avionics as TACAN (soon added to all),.
Bell civil market called this Bell205.
CDkit UH1 will serve for upgraded UH1C, UH1D and UH1H late refinement (TACAN).
