Rare St. Pierre “Picnic Special” Pitching Horseshoe Set - Wonder
This is a rare “Picnic Special” Pitching Horseshoe Set.
Included are 4 forged steel shoes, two stakes, instruction sheet and product sheet.
The “Picnic Special” shoes are somewhat lighter than the official weight shoes as they weigh only about 1 pound 11 ounces each which is about half of the regular St. Pierre weight.
The stakes are about 17 inches long.
Shoes are marked “WONDER” AND THE NUMBER “1” OR “2” ON ONE SIDE AND “St. PIERRE WORCESTER MASS. FORGED STYEEL” ON THE OTHER SIDE.
Shoes are used so they have rust and paint loss.
Original red box is somewhat rough but still hanging together.
