Description
Up for auction is a Rare 19th Century Antique Embossed Wm. McCully & Co. ~ STANDARD Hand Blown Cylindrical Light Sky Blue Glass "Fruit Jar", ca. 1860 - 1870 by North American Glass Co. This piece would likely be quart capacity and have had an applied wax sealer with tin lid back in it's day. It stands 9 1/4" tall x 2 7/8" top rim x 4 3/8" base. Aside from air bubbles in the Glass, there are NO cracks, chips or breaks (as felt with a "blind" hand). The top rim has manufacturing "straw" lines/marks to the inner rim and there is one air bubble along a seam towards the top that has a burnt dirty look to it. It is completely encased and cannot be washed out. This is truly a nice specimen! Please look closely at the pictures for details and condition. We want to ensure you are happy with your purchase.
