Rare #13 Quart Fruit Jar. Mason's Patent Nov 30th 1858. Most of the #13s were considered unlucky and broken. The bootleggers didn't want to put moonshine in them. Most of the women canning from the garden didn't want to use them. They were afraid the food would spoil. Very rare jar.    " Moore Bros 13 Clayton NJ Glass Co" on bottom of jar.
