Nude Art Deco, keyhole Art Nouveau Solid Brass Bookends (Pair)Vintage Exceptional!. Condition is Great! I bought these about 15 years ago cause I really liked the female bodies and there poses. They where painted green at that time and flaking a lot. I removed the paint and took some time to Brillo this pair of vintage bookends till paint was off and the finish was smooth. The metal finished was a reddish tint.15 years later this is what they look like. In researching these bookends, I believe they are from the early 1920’s.They are old and vintage.In addition, I do believe they are cast Iron bronze.You can still see some of the red tint on the sides of the bookends that stayed the finished color 15 years ago.These bookends are rare and one of a kind for sure!
