    Description

This sale features a sparkling mint, pale blue aqua, midget, fruit jar, that
stands 5 5/8  inches tall with the lid on.
This one is embossed Mason's Patent Nov 30th 1858, the reverse is embossed with the Hero Fruit Jar Company cross and a central number 16 encircled by PAT NOV 26 67 is embossed on the base. Looks like the original lid, and it is in excellent condition.
Its all about the lids on the more common variants of the midget fruit jars, in most cases, good strong lids are easily worth more than common jars, especially the lids with writing or designs stamped into the tops.
Please see the Condition Description above for additional detail.
