  • Condition: There is a ¼ inch shallow grind chip that is the result of the manufacturing process. Sparkling surfaces inside and out, not a dug jar, lugged zinc cap with Mason's Fruit Jar Liner, Philada, PA liner that is not held tightly in the zinc cap and easily falls out, also some loss along the indentation of the top thread, otherwise lid is the perfect size to hold tight, solid, fits well and screws on and off easily. Quality and condition can be seen in the photos.

    stands 5½ inches tall with the lid on.
    This one is embossed Mason's CFJ Co. Patent Nov 30th 1858, with the Hero Fruit Jar Company cross embossed on the reverse and a central 15 surrounded by PAT NOV 26 67 embossed on the base, large letter variant.
