KRONHEINER & OLDENBUSCH 1920'S METAL PARROT & ROSE ON BOOK BOOKENDS
Manufactured by Kronheiner & Oldenbusch Co. of New York between 1920 and 1930, these
hollow pot metal bookends are hand painted.  They feature a dark blue parrot with red and
yellow tail feathers sitting on the edge of a book end examining a rose page marker,  Each
book end measures 6" high, 4" wide , 4 1/2" deep, wad weighs 3 pounds, 8 ounces.  Each
has a felt lining on the bottom and one has a label reading "Henry Lawrence Studios Imports".
The Kronheiner & Oldenbush (KD) makers mark is located at the bottom of the book spine.
These are in very good used condition for their age with minor chipping and wear of the paint.
