Measure the instrument panel space width of your aircraft. The fuselage of most RC aircraft seem to be a little fat, adjust cockpit panels to fit.
FINE SCALE:
Print LIFE SIZE PNG file onto 35mm (24x36mm, about 1½ inches wide) slide film.
A 35 inch wide panel printed full frame = about 1/24 scale, 2/3 frame = about 1/32 scale, and ½ frame = about 1/48 scale. Hi-white the back and install. The detail is there, but you’ll need a magnifier to see it.

Curtiss built almost 14,000 Hawks for the World. They were used by both sides. They were  tough, but easy to fly and gave the best investment ratio of WW2.
H75A France
got 316. 4-6x 7.5mm FN Browning MGs, 1200hp Wright Cyclone R-1820 engine. French do everything different: Throttle aft to advance power and France’s own Baille-Lemaire gun sight.
Hawk 75 was used extensively and successfully by the French Armee de l'air Groupe de Chasse II/5 La Fayette, old Lafayette Escadrille did well against Bf109Es during the Battle for France.
In North Africa French H75s suffered twice the loss against F4F Wildcat. Remaining French H75s were replaced by P40s.
Hawk75 China
: simple fixed LG, Wright R-1820 Cyclone from Curtiss & China’s Central Aircraft. Chennault (AVG Flying Tigers) got his own private fixed gear Hawk75. American pilots shot down several Japanese bombers over Shanghai in 1937. In the late 30s, Argentina’s Fabrica Militar de Aviones built about 50 as Hawk 75O.
Hawk75 Dutch - Netherlands East Indies
Oost Indië Hawk75s with 1,200 hp Wright Cyclone and 2-4x Brit .303s flew so many hours that the engines were almost worn out. Dutch Hawk75s fought Japanese bombers and A6M2 Zeros lead by Sakai Saburo. ABCDCOMs USAAF, RAF and Dutch fought together in extensive dogfights over Bali, Java, Malacca, and Sumatra.

44 Hawk75As from France and Norway were called Sussu by Finland’s lmavoimat. Norwegian customs smashed all instruments. Upon arrival in Axis allied Finland, these instruments were said to be replaced with German equipment. Hawk75 Sussu’s saw combat with 190 kills against the USSR. Finnish Hawk75s guns were 1x or 2x .50cal FN Browning or Berezin UB MGs over cowl + 4x Browning .303 MGs in wings. Most Sussu’s used Revi C3 or C/12D gunsight.
