    Description

    Up for auction is a
Antq Wright's Silver Cream Polish 8 Oz. Glass Jar Metal Lid Pat Date Dec 7, 1909. It weighs .56 lb. The jar has a 2 3/4" diameter and is 3 1/2" tall. The pat date is on the outer edge of the lid: Dec. 7, 1907. There is a 30, (probably .30 cents,) written in a blue grease pencil on the lid. This product  has a long history, being established in 1873, is still produced. It was made by the J. A. Wright & Co. Keene, N.H. I found this with my great-grandmothers things. She built this house in 1910 and her things keep surfacing. One of the other uses for this product that I thought was interesting is to use it as a hand soap.
