Antique Colorado Rocky Mountain elk hunting bookends, cast iron, 9 lbs

Description

Pretty cool bookends depicting a male elk bugling for a mate.  Impressive rack, there, guy.  And IN COLOR !!!
Cast iron (yes, a magnet sticks).  The backs and bottoms are covered with velvet fabric so I can't see if there is any maker's mark.  My guess is Albany Foundry.  1920's.
Condition is fine.  No damage other than minor nicks and dings along the edges.  Paint is original, mostly intact.
4 1/2 inches tall; 5 1/2 inches wide; 2 1/2 inches deep.  And heavy at 4 1/2 pounds EACH PIECE.
Perfect gift for that hunting cabin in the Colorado mountains.
