ANTIQUE CANNING JAR LID ONLY
Interesting antique aqua blue thick molded glass canning jar by A. KLINE, patented Oct. 27, 1863.  Marked USE PIN, lid was designed for fruit canning jars and measures 2" wide and 1" deep (the section that would seat into a jar).  I think this was intended to seat into a jar pour opening.
Condition is very nice with a bit more cased soiling - I've cleaned out most of it -- there is a flake style chip off the inside edge of the lid, a tiny flake of the outside edge, and a few dark lines on the edge - one from production in how the glass cooled and one at a nip point - neither can be caught and are tight as can be - all minor damage is on the underside to the lid and does not show.  Hoping someone can use this - think it is a neat antique canning jar piece - fun addition to any collection or display!
