    Description

    Here's 3 wax sealers and one that took a glass stopple, each with moderate to serious lip damage all for one money. Might be a good project for someone to practice their repair skills on. Too large to buff, would require a resin repair and none are valuable enough to spend the money on, yet I just couldn't throw them back in the hole! Might make interesting dry flower arrangement covering the damage, or what have you? No other damage noted. Anyhoo, they are here for cheap. Shipping likely costs more than they are worth but figured I'd give them a try. Two are standard "Standard" jars with "Wm. Mc C & Co." embossed around heel on reverse sides with different size lettering and the third is "Star Glass Co./ in arch, New Albany, Ind." This would have been a sparkler if not damaged as the glass is unusually clean for a dug jar. The Standard jar in center has a huge "+" sign on base, other two are plain. Fourth jar added late as it is damaged as well with one lip chip 1" wide and another 1/8" wide, embossed "A.R.S." and just might be worth a good repair job. Red Book #9 lists it as #94 and stands for Adam R Samuels. Price listed at 0-125 and of course the glass stopple is worth more, which I sadly didn't dig with the jar. No other damage noted. It has become time for me to thin out my collection and none of these listed today have ever been on the market before, having been dug by me and in my possession.
