    Description

    Here are two "Mason's/ Patent/ Nov. 30th/ 1858" small mouth midget jars in decent shape. One on left has hero's cross on reverse and the other a keystone between "Mason's and Patent". They are Red Book #'s 1941 and 1965 respectively. I rescued the porcelain liners but the lids were roached beyond saving. Regardless, they are likely not the originals as one has a tudor rose design and the other does have a hero cross and could be original. They are both midget size inserts at any rate. The one on left does have one tiny flat chip worth mentioning, the other is damage free. It has become time for me to thin out my collection and none of these listed today have ever been on the market before, having been dug by me and in my possession.
